Fighting in a war is serious. Playing a video game is not.
In war, you have a high risk of dieing. In a video game you do not.
While in war you see your best friends get shot an killed. In a video game you do not.

When you play the video game you have a great time. Whether you are playing alone or with your friends. It can cause a big competition, laughter, and a great bonding experience. If you and your friends get tired of the game you can pause it, go get a snack, maybe go play outside, and then return whenever. But,playing the video games that imply that you are in the war are ridiculous. If you die, you start over. If you make it through the game without dieing, if puts the mentality in your brain that you could survive the real deal. In war, you have to be fit, active, strong, and ready to serve your country. Sitting on your couch does not prepare you for that.

In war you dont get to take a break. Most of the time its not a great bonding experience or much laughter. It is serious and you put yourself into a great load of danger. Forbid you die, but if you are killed in the real battle, there is no restart button. You dont get to use your next life, you are done. Gone.

The graphics on a video game is brutal at some points, but you move on and you go try and kill the enemy.
The graphics in war arent graphics. It is the blood from your friend. Another soldier.

The mental piece of it all is very opposing.
Suppose you are playing a war video game, and your friend is a fellow teammate. If you are playing and your friend loses his last life, he sits there and watches you finish the game in hopes that you will win. If it wasnt in the video game, you friend would be lying there in pain until he dies. He wouldnt be cheering you on while you try and complete your tasks.

"Oh its not that bad, we can start a new game and forget about us being killed"
No. That is the wrong message. The war does not hand out redo's.

Dog(Plane)Fight.

To start off, that game was very difficult! If I can barely play the game I have no idea on how the pilot could do all of the controlling. While I was "attempting" to play the game I had to worry about not crashing into the ground, making sure the plane was going in the direction for a good aim of shot, and actually shoot at the other plane! I know that when there was an actual dogfight the pilot wasnt alone. The shooter in the back and the pilot had to be in complete sync with each other. If one went wrong the other was in trouble too. Thinking about it at first seems like if you were the shooter you shoot; if you were the pilot you steer. After playing the game it gives a good experience to understand that they not only had to do their job, they had to understand what their partners job was, as well.

Could you imagine not being about to talk to your mom every day? Would it hurt you to know that you wouldn't know right away if anything was wrong with her? I know that I could never imagine, and it would kill me. Not knowing any information about my family. Not knowing how they are doing when ever I want. Im not sure how those men did it. I would think their frustrations are being angry from all the unknown questions, worried because of the unknown questions, but at the same time to hear from the family makes them feel the happiest that they could. Receiving the special gifts would be a joy.

Gallipoli. Wipeout.

-Weapons.
-Being on the front line.
-Gas bombs in the trenches.
-Long exhausting walks.
-Carrying heavy equipment.
-Sneak attacks.
-The harsh weather conditions.

These reasons came to my mind while thinking of the great number of casualties. The weapons were large, heavy and hard to maneuver. The sneak attacks describe itself, along with the Gas Bombs. The walks look horrendous and having to deal with the difficult weather conditions must have been a challenge in itself. Having the number of casualties that were recorded hurt society because no one would know if they had lost a member of their family. Everyone would worry and the only way to know is if you receive a letter (which would take longer than they would have wanted)

Eagle Eye

The movie Eagle Eye is about a young man, Jerry, who is a drop out and has no ambisions in life compared to his twin brother, Ethan, who was an Air Force lieutenant. After attended the funeral for Ethan, Jerry goes to deposit a check at the atm. Once he starts to receive money it doesnt stop. He returns to his apartment to find various illegal weapons and such that do not belong to him. When he is looking through all of the boxes, a women calls. The voice sounds like a machine, and this voice tells Jerry that the FBI will be there in 30 seconds and must run. Unfortunately the FBI catches him and questions him on why he had all of these things. He had been set up by a super computer that had found herself in control of anything without anyone knowing, (the voice that called Jerry) Through out the movie he meets with another women who was set up and the supercomputer threats to kill her son.

The Super-computer (ARIIA) who is housed at the pentagon had control over every electronic device on the earth. She trys to eliminate the president of the United States and the Presidential staff . The way she attemps to do this is with the women Jerry has been traveling with's son. He is a part of this school band and there had been a bomb placed into his trumpet. As an honor the band goes to play the national anthem at the Presidents speech in the capital building. If his trumpet hits the high "F", the bomb would explode and destroy every living body in the building or surrounding area.

The Super computer is the high country, in this case, for imperialism. She takes control over the powers of a weaker country, which is humankind itself. During the movie she communicates through a cell phone. When the people she has chosen specifically answer they must do what she says, when she says it. If you disobey you get punished. This is an example of imperialism because she is using her greatest power to oppress the humans. She thinks she is doing it for the best, but in reality she wants what she wants, will kill anyone in the way, and using anyone to complete the job.

Rule of Chocolate

The Bourgeoisie; the higher power. The Proletariat; the working class. If you throw the Chocolate Factory with Willy Wonka, you would have an excellent representation of the Bourgeoisie and the Proletariat. It would be easy to infer that the Bourgeoisie is the equivalent to the owner of the company, Willy Wonka. Willy Wonka went into the jungle and found the Proletariat. The Proletariat, which have now been called the "Oompa Loompa's", were taken from their homes in hope of a great new life with Mr. Wonka. Little did they know that Mr. Wonka wasnt concerned about the "Oompa Loompa's" livings at all, he just needed their work for his business to be successful. Now, put the word Bourgeoisie for replacement of "Willy Wonka", the Proletariat in replacement for "Oompa Loompa's", and now you have been informed of how these topics coexist with one another.

Picture Message.

When you see this picture, you actually have to look hard to understand what they are trying to explain. What I see is that the whites are considered to be above them all and angelic. The blacks are below with crocodiles and devil like. One should see the differences during the reconstruction, and how far we have come to completely change that view.

That Rocky Raccoon

During the "Rocky Raccoon", The Beetles describe how and why a showdown would happen. Another man would take ones woman, then the two men would fight for her. Unfortunately, only one man could have the victory. "Rocky Raccoon" was shot in trying to win his lady back, but still wanted to fight.
In the end, "Rocky Raccoon" found another woman and was very happy.

I think that the piece is accurate by explaining what a man must do to hang on, or let go of his woman.

Should Amnesty be given to the South?

Amnesty. It is defined as "giving forgiveness", so I believe that the south should receive Amnesty. The proclamation does not say "who" would, or could, be given the forgiveness. Although they were against the reconstruction, everyone should have an equal right towards the proclamation. If they are forgiven, it gives them a open door way to start fresh and new.

Stereotypes are used and known by so many people because we cant find all the information we would want to know about EVERYONE. So, we create ways to think of each group by what we have seen in our lives, not on how they live their own lives. It effects us because we then look at someone from some group, we automatically think of what we have seen. For example, what is going on today with the Qurans. People in the US want to believe that all Muslims are terrorist, all because of 9/11. That is obviously wrong. We dont know every Muslim in the world, but they are not all terrorist, so we shouldn't treat them with that lack of respect.

When Thoreau said, "the government is best which governs least", I automatically thought he was implying that when they have less control over everything, they have an easier way to have control. If they have less responsibility, they can focus more on what little they govern. When they focus on each topic more precisely, more efficient work can be done.

Countries should not leave the negative parts out of our learning. We learn about all of the negative topics in every other county, why should we get the exception? The United States of America is free and amazing, but if we cant know about the bad things as well, it would be a lie to tell us we are the perfect country. We can learn from the falls and how they rebuilt it to what we are today. It would be another lesson to teach during school about the truth of our county, and why where we live is what it is.

History should matter to everyone for many reasons. Without it we would not have the knowledge we do today.

It is the foundation to what our lives are today. History explains how we are living today. We know why we can all be together for the good reasons, but also tells us how we werent aloud together in the past. Segregation is the part of history how we all know that we could not be together at one point, but thankfully it has changed and we are all one.
